Boeing 737-200 5U-BAG was delivered in 1978 and served for over three decades as the official state jet of Niger, fitted with a gravel kit for operations from desert airstrips. It retired in 2014 after 36 years and was stored at Lasham Airfield in the UK.

Released as a limited edition of 2,000 pieces, each tag is cut from a genuine piece of 5U-BAG's fuselage and engraved with its registration and an individual serial number. Because every tag comes from a different part of the aircraft, colour, texture and thickness vary, and small scratches or paint chips are part of its service history.
