AviationTag Lufthansa Airbus A380 D-AIMI GLARE
This official Aviationtag x Lufthansa edition is cut from GLARE, the fibre-metal laminate of alternating aluminium and glass-fibre layers that the Airbus A380 was the first airliner to use extensively in its upper fuselage. It comes from A380-841 D-AIMI "Berlin" (MSN 072), which flew in Lufthansa's long-haul fleet until its final ferry flight on 22 February 2021.
Released as a limited edition of 22,000 pieces, each tag shows GLARE's slightly textured surface and the layered look along its cut edges, which sets it apart from standard aluminium Aviationtags. Every tag comes from a different part of the fuselage, so colour, texture and thickness vary, and small scratches are part of its service history.
An official Aviationtag product, recommended by AVIAVAULT and sold directly by Aviationtag.
Tag dimensions: 35 × 88 mm. With cardboard packaging: 10 × 15 cm.
