Boeing 747-246F N746CK (MSN 22989) first flew on 7 October 1982 and was delivered to Japan Airlines that December as part of its "Super Logistics" cargo fleet. It joined US cargo airline Kalitta Air in November 2008 and was stored at Oscoda, Michigan, from August 2015. Years of outdoor storage give these tags extra character.

Released as a limited edition of 6,300 pieces, each tag is cut from a genuine piece of N746CK's fuselage and engraved with its registration and an individual serial number. Because every tag comes from a different part of the aircraft, colour, texture and thickness vary, and small scratches or paint chips are part of its service history.
