McDonnell Douglas MD-88 EC-FJE "Gibralfaro" was delivered in 1991 to Aviaco and flew in its colours until 1999, when Iberia absorbed Aviaco. It then flew Iberia scheduled services until being parked in Madrid in 2008.

Released as a limited edition of 5,000 pieces, each tag is cut from a genuine piece of EC-FJE's fuselage and engraved with its registration and an individual serial number. Because every tag comes from a different part of the aircraft, colour, texture and thickness vary, and small scratches or paint chips are part of its service history.
