A rare Airbus corporate presentation piece created for the A340-500 and A340-600 programme during its introduction in the early 2000s.

Produced as programme-specific memorabilia rather than ordinary retail merchandise, these pieces were intended for Airbus customers, airline executives, programme partners, suppliers, and VIP guests during the aircraft’s launch and marketing era.

The A340-500 and -600 represented the ultimate evolution of Airbus’ four-engine long-haul family. The ultra-long-range A340-500 pushed the boundaries of nonstop travel, while the stretched A340-600 became the longest passenger aircraft in the world at its introduction.

Presented in its original Airbus presentation box, this sculpture is a distinctive survivor from one of the manufacturer’s most ambitious widebody programmes.
