1980s Concorde British Airways x Singapore Airlines Model

Regular price

A very rare late-1980s Schabak Concorde model, catalogue No. 1029/51, made in Germany and finished in the unmistakable half-British Airways, half-Singapore Airlines livery.

The unusual scheme traces back to one of Concorde’s most fascinating chapters, when British Airways and Singapore Airlines jointly operated the aircraft between London and Singapore. The real Concorde carried British Airways colours on one side and Singapore Airlines on the other, creating one of the most distinctive liveries ever worn by the supersonic airliner.

Produced by Schabak in Germany at 1:250 scale, this vintage model captures that short-lived partnership in miniature. An increasingly difficult piece to find, particularly for collectors of Concorde, Singapore Airlines, and vintage die-cast aviation models.
